the kind that has 1 set of svideo connections (with audio) that hooks up to the tv and various connectors that hook into the back of your consoles like THIS ONE!!

well i have one and if i plug both the cube and xbox in the box seems to suck power from the cube even if the box is off. like i have the cube on and box off, but the sound plays at an almost inaudible volume unless i unplug the xbox connector (then it plays normal). xbox seems to work fine even if the cube is plugged in. havent tried to turn both on at the same time yet im scared of a portal to open up or something. :(

anyway, does anyone have one of these and do you hook all your consoles up at the same time without a problem? thx.

I am not sure, but I think that you are not suppose to plug two systems in at a time. It may cause a dead short.

I use one. I've connected multiple consoles at once with it. It doesn't damage anything if you leave them all on and connected. However, you will get tons of interference if you do that. It goes back to normal if only one of the connected consoles is powered on at a time. But I have also noticed that the more consoles you connect at a time, the lower the volume becomes (even if the other attached consoles are turned off). So I just connect only the console that I'm going to use.

Yea, this is pretty normal with these multi s-video adapters. The one I used to have before, would display wrong colors on screen if I had more than one system connected to the adapter, even if they were off. I guess, most of these are made cheaply or something, I don't know.

I had another one tho, that worked flawlessly when I had all 3 main consoles hooked up at one time, no video or audio issues whatsoever. I guess if you can trade that one back in and get another one or something, by all means do it. Constantly unplugging and plugging in your different consoles really defeats the purpose of having a multi adapter imo. Trade it back in if you can, and get a different one.

I have one. I get the same sound issues. The x box sound is normal but the ps2 and gamecube volume is very low. What sucks is that I have to put the volume to like 30 so when i'm done playing the ps2 I hit input to go back to watching TV and it scares the dog shit out of me as the TV volume is maxed the fuck out. Sucks but I like having everything hooked up with one cable as I'm a lazy cow. I don't notice any visual problems though just the sound.
