Can glsl shaders be edited as text files? I know I've seen dmg3x shader offered in gambatte and retroarch. Am I correct to assume RetroPie is built on top of Retroarch?

Yeah, not a "serious" unit, but, should be good to waste some time, if it doesn't self destruct in the first 5 minutes. Even if only 1% of the 800 games on it are any good, I'll be happy. Maybe there'll be some creative Chinese hacks on there.

I was right and it shipped today too, since the Chinese seller has stock here in the states.

Doesn't look like I'm going to get my AliExpress treasure. Ali emailed me and said that my time limit was up to confirm that I'd received it, which I never did, and advised me to open a dispute, so, I did so. The seller is using the Covid pandemic and the Chinese New Year as excuses, and saying that it'll ship on time, which would be all fine and good, except that, according to my email notifications, it was already allegedly shipped on the 3rd, there's zero progress in the tracking, and it was supposed to arrive in 7-11 days, but, they lied about shipping it from their USA warehouse (which is why it was supposed to be a relatively quick turnaround) and supposedly sent it from South Korea instead (more likely West or East Korea from the look of things). I think they're just playing games and Ali will end up giving me a full refund for my precious $7. Probably should've splurged and ordered a $15 model instead, right?

TLDR version: M is a faggit.

A'ight, Ali refunded me my money and I ordered one again, from a different seller, for $14 this time. This one had about a 4.7/5.0 feedback rating, so, I'm hopeful. All I want to do is play NES Snow Bros. on a dodgy bootleg Gameboy while I'm on the shitter...I like to believe that's an obtainable goal.
