Well,what have we here? ;)
I knew about the KOF's on Saturn, but this one escaped me.

A 'best collection' of a series is always a nice idea,especially when it reaches it's 8th installment now. <img src="graemlins/smirk.gif" border="0" alt="[Smirk]" />
I wonder if there will ever be a 'Best of Final Fantasy'... :D

Anyway, has anybody this K.O.F.BEST COLLECTION disc?
Does it contain the 3 games seperately,or is it rather in the way of Mk Trilogy-everything thrown in together?

Also a collection of real bout and real bout special

The KOF saturn ports are ok, kof 95 is the most faithful port (only cause it has its own dedicated ram cartridge) 96 and 97 are bogged down by some long load times (not as bad as the neo cd) but are fun. Not bad if you cant afford the Neo carts right away. Oh and 97 doesnt have an english option, and there is a ton of story, which sucks.

It's just all 3 Saturn KOF games in a box set. Nothing more.

I have the King of Fighters best collection, the Real Bout Fatal Fury best collection, and the Samurai Spirits best collection. They are great. I recommend you get them.

I, too possess this KoF Collection for Saturn. A very good set, if you can't/don't want to afford the Neo Geo originals. Load times are there, but not as bad as the Neo CD versions. I think '97 has an art gallery, too.

Certain convertered don't work with KoF '96, so unless you have a JP system or US system with a switch and a 1 meg cart, you may end up with a glitchy KoF '96.

A good package overall, and well worth the $$.

I would make sure to ask them if it comes with the 95 RAM cart because it isn't pictured. If you don't have it you can't play 95 at all.

Damn true, man.

I don't know why some CD games don't get re-released. I mean, ppl re-release AES games for lotsa $$$, it's about time they re-do some CDs as well. Would be dead cheap (sans the manual printing), and they also could come up with SAT-like compilations/premium editions. Hey, how cool would that be, SS1-4 + SS RPG in a nice digi pack, for $50!

Did any1 of you get KoF 95 comlete?? I didn't get the back cover of the game  I've looked all over ebay and I bumped into a few of em and they werent complete aswell. I'm talking about the KoF Box with Ram cart.

I saw both the KoF Collection and SS Collection, the KoF Collection went for $100! and the SS Collection for $80 when I last saw em end...

Does never include a lose Kof 95 aswell?? I'm glad I didn't left the seller a negetive feedback just for that :D Its a pretty big mistake made by SNK, not printing out a back cover... I guess I have to get the Neo CD cover scanned and put it on my saturn one...

The KOF95 doesn't have a back insert in the jewel case...Why? Because the 'back insert' is the back of the cardboard box it came in!

Which brings up a good point...

Which SS 'box games' HAVE a back insert in the jewel case?

I have KOF95, XMen vs SF, VampireSaviour that DON'T have a jewelcase back insert. However, my SFZero3 DOES have an insert!

Can anyone else with the other 'boxed' SS games help me out? I'm curious...

the only boxed saturn game i have with the back insert is zero 3 also, if you want it with the insert, i think all the other games that were available with ram, you have to get the version that didnt come with a box.

Well talking about the back insert... the front insert and the box cover are the same aswell...

I got SS3 with box and the back cover insert. Talking about SFZ3, that game just is way better then the DC version. First of Shin Akuma can be selected with a simple code, and the Dramatic Battle is better with more modes. Also you can see the characters taunts now. Great game, Ill defenetly get it!
