The early access is still fucked. As much as I want to, I am not going to waste my time trying to play this game until S-E fixes their shit.
Good game, but so far the launch has shown terrible infrastructure on many levels. S-E is about to shoot themselves in the foot again.

yesterday was the only day i had a decent amount of time to play for a week
i was/am a little miffed about them screwing this shit up
from what i read it's just the US/EU servers; the JP ones are solid

didn't get to play much during early access
spent the last few days busting my ass at work ending with a 15 hour day yesterday

i'm at 15 now and am going to start partying up and traveling further (if i can)
the only MMO i have ever played is FFXI and it's been a while since then so i could definitely use a refresher
have to figure out crafting to... haven't looked into what's good for my class and whatnot yet

My sister and her boyfriend (who is also my friend) are playing this game and I'm getting roped in to it as well.
Last MMO I played was Ultima Online
Anyway, they play on Gilgamesh.
I played on my sister's character. The game seems decent enough. They play casually and I suppose I will too.
How has everyone been enjoying the game since launch?

My sis is a conjurer and her bf is an archer so they could both start in the same town.
I think I'm going to roll as a Gladiator so our party of three can have a tank. They're both level 12-13 right now. Am I reading it right that we wont be able to meet up until they (or I) get to level 15 or so and airship travel is available?

Yeah, that is right.
Theoretically, you COULD hoof it all the way to Gridania from Uldah, but odds are good you'll get aggro from some mob that will one shot you and then you'll have to start all over.
Honestly, one really good night of grinding XP on storyline quests and side quests will get you to 15. It's not hard to do at all.

Not sure what I should undertake when I get to level 10 (should I even bother to craft at that level?.) I'm going to get the gamer later tonight, most likely going to be a roegadyn gladiator.
