"Sloppy" is going too far. In general, ADK games on the Neo are not bad. They just usually aren't the greatest either.

They're basically the MercurySteam/GameFreak/Good-Feel of the Neo. Not bad, but never as good as when the real first party developer puts a game out.

Alpha Denshi is more consistent in its output than SNK itself, or at least it felt that way in their early years. Top Player's Golf, Riding Hero: Dion GP? Sengoku, Burning Fight, Ghost Pilots? lmbo. That's most titles up to 1992 when there was literally no bad ADK game.

That's true. But for whatever reason SNK was able to rise above and never look back. ADK did too, just not nearly as much.
