I got this game from Jorge a few weeks ago and its awesome. Its become one of my favorite Neo games. :buttrock:

I'm a fan of WJ as well "short game" but... even more fun when 2p are playing.

I wish DataEast was still around to make another WJ

Easily one of the best games the neo has to offer.
This game is better than, Bang Bead, Flip-Shot, and Super Dodge Ball IMO
(Which to me are in the same genre)

Wind Jammers is a fantastic game. I remember ordering the home cart from Die Hard when it first came out and it was then and still is one of my favorite games.

I only own the MVS version now but also use to own the CD version. It seems like the CD version had longer matches (time wise) if I remember correctly.

Anyway...I agree it is a great game.

Yes count me in here....i never owned it the first time round...but heard it was a good game...but at the time i could not afford every ngh title that emerged!!...was still recovering from spending £225 for veiwpoint back in the day!!!..
Btw...i love it so much now i have two copies!!...one is sealed & the other is 'as-new'...witch gets plenty of play-time, i like it for its uncomplicated pick-up & play anytime nature...there are few games like this nowadays...the bonus minigames are too a neat addition....great with two players & last time i played it my gal was just as good if not better than me!! top stuff .

the game never leaves my cab. when i had a CMVS i thought it was an okay game. but since i got my cab is just got THAT much better. Its so much fun and i can play for hours..its tough too, or maybe because i have the difficulty set up high but soo much fun. Definitly my top3 favorite Neo games.

I've got this on NEOCD and on the rare opportunity I get some human competition this game often takes precedence even over the classic NEO fighters...

and yeah, I'd be all over a sequel if one had been made

truly, windjammers is an awesome game.

It is all of my friends favorite neo geo game. The music is catchy, the bonus games are fun, it has that good old "Data East" feel, and i love the voice overs.

And the girls boobies shakle.

What breaks my heart the most is that the "announced" Neo Geo Pocket Color version never came to fruitation. Portable WJ would've been insane. Strike it as another major Neo Geo Exclusive nobody else has or may ever have.

i havent met anyone who doesnt like this game.
when i introduced all my non-neo friends to it ... they loved it.
