Where can I buy a Bios socket?

Where can i get one of these?

I want to install Unibios 2.0, but I want to install a socket

I have no idea where to get it

I'm in the UK, a UK store or a store that ships to UK would be cool!

You could try "MAPLINS" Electronics store... they have everything there just take along your bios 2.0 to get the correct size, socket is the way to go!, but i.. like a fool soldered mine perfectly onto the old bios!, it is the neo-stores bios chip, but my neo is staying the way it is now!!...Darn it!

I have a non-working MV-1F board.
You can desolder the socket from that if you run out of options.

Sho, you can get the sockets at any Maplins store. I bought some a few weeks ago. Ask at the components counter for a 40 pin IC socket and they'll sort you out. They're only 14p or you can splash out on a berylium coated one for 79p!

Hey Sho I just realised you're in Scotland! Where are you? I'm in Stirling. By the way you're better off going to Maplins in St Enoch Square in Glasgow. They know what they're talking about. I went to Maplins in Falkirk a while ago and they were useless - couldn't even find the right resistors that I wanted!
