This is from their last show of their last tour (the first in over 20 years). People were weeping openly at this point. It was a beautiful celebration of Vern Rumsey’s life
(Their original bassist that died before this tour could be launched).

This is their crowning achievement. Fucking goosebumps, every time.

So many emo bands (the real shit-think unbroken as opposed to Good Charlotte) and adjacent (like Hot Snakes) owe a debt to the first guitar break down/solo and the closing solo.

It’s crazy something this heavy is on the same album as a light-hearted track like Down on the Corner.
