Just a shoot in the dark but I am considering getting into warhammer 40k and I am looking to buy or trade for a 40k army... would consider any army list.

Do you need the Warhammer 40k rulebook by chance?

I could cut you a deal on the copy I have. It's the latest edition.

I thought about getting into 40K, seems fun after reading the rules, but I didn't think I would have enough money or time to get anything done because i'm already working on an army for GW's Lord of the Ring's game.

Definitely saves you some money as the book is like $50 new.

Still if you're ever wanting the rulebook i'll probably have it.
