sound controls

ok so i know this is neo-geo, but i picked up a williams "defender" the other day. the 2-way joystick makes a little sqeaking noise and the big sound control thingy makes the speakers crackle if it gets shifted in any way.

my question is what do i need to do to make this thing work right?

For the big sound control thingy go get some spray contact cleaner (make sure it has the little red plastic tube with it!). Spray a little into an opening on the control and turn it back and forth a few times. This will clean it.
