just throwing this up, totally forgot you had to buy the "wanted" poster...but got to Stage 3.

It's been a long time since I've played this and my thumb hurts already, might have to look for an Advantage or Max...

Also seems like there is a lot of possibilities to milk the scores by rolling the levels over...

Also, you don't have to buy the wanted poster in most cases, as long as you can find the wanted poster hidden in each level...

My first run. I was never good at this one, but always loved it. Reminds me of TigerHeli for some reason. Maybe the pacing.

c0nn0r - 37,250 - Saturn - Autofire=YES

I can’t read your score...

Re: connor - you know you can Tate the Saturn version, I think option 3 on display.

Re: connor - you know you can Tate the Saturn version, I think option 3 on display.

This is true, but the option is broken on Saturn. Selecting TATE works, but the screen is vertically compressed such that it does not fill the full screen. Adjusting H.Hold does not solve this. From what I understand this is not an issue on the PS1 version.

I'll post a pic when I get a chance. I'll check MERCS too to see if TATE works. It's on the same Capcom Collection disk.

I don't have this one, but so glad to see this is still a thing (SOTM). Went from no itch for almost 2 years to a slow creep and now i'm finally diving back in.

Nice to see you posting again man! I hope you've been doing well lately. Hopefully you can get in on the high score action this month, Gun Smoke is a fun one.

So......it got some things to say about the NES version. I don't know if anyone notices, but if you just use the pea shooter, as long as you never buy a weapon, bullet drops will instead be money bags. Interesting way of creating an advanced scoring tech like that for the time.

WHAT I DON'T LIKE, is the fact that anything you buy hurts your score, I get it, they are crutches, but stuff like the shotgun is a blessing in later levels as far as rear enemies appearing.

Otherwise it's a great port of a great capcom game.

So it looks like there's a dilemma, there's only 3 loops in the NES version and no way to see your score. So in saying that, I cleared all three loops and I had a score of like 650,000 going into the last boss. Fuck if I know how to handle this.

Edit: Figured it out, you have to soft reset the NES. So I got a shot of the title screen

Kidpanda - 698,180 - All - NES - Autofire=Y
