For SOTM this month we are playing FireShark. Get that Genny or emulator fired up cause we are only using the Sega Genesis (USA) version this month for some old school console fun.

When you just turn it on and start playing, the default is Easy. In the options you can set it to normal. Same with the Rapid Fire.

If I'm sot mistaken it's endless. There's only ten stages in a loop.

I will never have the drive to find out but I thought I read somewhere it has 10 loops. 100 stages if so.

Decent upgrade in difficulty on second loop, lose a life and it’s really hard to recover. Hell it takes 3 stages to max out your weapon again.

Glad you joined us! I'm terrible at shmups too, but I love to play them. Seeing your progress throughout the month is a lot of the fun. I hope you'll come back to play every month if you can.
