Every now and then I see these retarded banner ads on the internet. They're not a joke, either. Someone actually made a serious attempt at advertising something.

Here's one I saw awhile back...

And.... this is what prompted the thread. I mean, is it just me, or could they have done a little better job taking some publicity photos for Batman?

edit: misinterpreted this thread. thought you were getting banner ads on your desktop. On topic : those are some terrible attempts at advertising, for sure.

EDIT: I'll take this time to say hello as I'm new to the forums here. I just picked up a NGDC with around 20 games and I'm new to the system but not at all to video games. I'm an avid trader on gametz.com with over 60 trades and I hope to do some trading here!

Best one I ever saw was for some "Get perfect Abs in 15 minutes a day" It had some grainy photo of some skinhead with Jeans and his shirt off... Looked like someone in prison....
