PS3 game updates?

has anyone experienced issues updating games? this shit drives me crazy. it takes so many attempts to finish the download i ususally just quit trying and fire up the 360. it always hangs up and signs me out. i know its not my connection because the games i have managed to update play fine and i can get on the PSN store w/o a hitch. is there anything i could do to fix this problem aside from just selling the stupid fucking thing? i've done some searching and haven't turned up much info so here is my thread.

Are you using wireless? I know that same problem occurs when I use the wireless setting. Usually, I sign on to my secondary account to update with success.

i'm wireless now, but several months back experienced the same problems on a 20GB model i had (no wifi).

One more thing you could try is by starting the game sign off. When it prompts you to update, you can manually sign in. I think PSN is overall glitchy. I think it took me almost an hours to connect to update Blazblue.

Try turning off Media Server and Information Board (Orange icon upper right corner) as well. Latest System Update too.

It used to give me some problems when my internet connection was spotty (since it'll DC you so easily), but these days, I haven't had any problems. So perhaps your connection is a bit temperamental?

i was having issues with my internet connections lately. I went into my router's IP and updated the firmware, you might want to try that.
