-Kevin Owens is feuding with Shane McMahon. I guess that's what all the former ROH guys are gonna do.

That is actually a match I'd be interesting in. Some Brawling, and a huge bump.

Plus, I'd assume that Owens would go over. And Going over a McMahon is usually the start of a big push.

You don't put your best wrestlers in feuds with executives in their mid 40s. Fucking retarded. Put him in there with someome that can actually wrestle.

Vince and Stone Cold say hello.
1. Vince was the heel
2. Vince was over as fuck
3. At the time they hadn't yet done a McMahon vs wrestler feud. They have done more than a dozen since.
4. That was the mid 1990s.

It's a god damn waste. Put good wrestlers in the ring with other good wrestlers.

Shane McMahon sucks ass and is not even one thousandth as relevant as Vince was during the Stone Cold feud.

never mind this WWE bullshit, there is bigger bullshit afoot:
https://www.pwinsider.com/ViewArticle.php?id=112141

Anthem (parent company of Fight Network and GFW/Impact Wrestling) is apparently "hemorrhaging money" and already looking to sell GFW and get out of the wrasslin' industry.

Could this finally be the end of this company or will another idiot line up to lose millions?

While Shane isn't a good or great worker, his last few matches have been rather entertaining. They tend to work around his shortcomings and he puts a lot of effort into the match. And then there is a big bump.

They put more effort into getting the son of the boss over than some of the best workers in the entire world. That promotion is a joke.

You'd think they had learned from the past but with the situations with Alberto El Patron, the 'Broken Hardys' and now Jeff Jarrett, it makes you wonder if anyone would want to buy into this company when someone will end up screwing up big time again.

Those are all speed bumps compared to the real issue: They don't get any fucking revenue. Their US TV deal doesn't pay shit, they don't charge for tickets, they barely sell merch, they only run 2 live PPVs a year which nobody buys anyway, etc. Literally their only significant revenue comes from their TV deals in India and to a much smaller extent the UK.

To me it looks like everything was hedged on Jarrett being able to get Impact back on Spike. He failed to do that, Impact re-upped with Pop where they don't make any money, and days later suddenly JJ has to go home and Anthem wants out.

Definitely a big mess. Sounds like Anthem was gambling big on Jarrett and lost, which is a real shame. Impact isn't all bad and IMO showed quite a bit of improvement as of late. Guess we'll have to wait and see what's in the next chapter in this seemingly endless saga ;)

There's a very real possibility that both Lucha Underground and GFW are dead by the end of the year.

If that happens, that's a shitload of big talent out there on the market all at once.

And it would leave ROH and NJPW as the only two English language alternatives to WWE on US national television.

No it wasn't. He doesn't have one tenth the money or connections that Anthem has. He would have been bankrupt in a month running it the way it was.

Ring of Honor will be getting all new belt designs soon. The Women of Honor title is rumored to be done and they are just waiting on the new belts to be finished.

Women of Honor Wednesday:

Probably the biggest WOH match yet. They've been building this one for quite a while and these are definitely their two best workers.

Throwback Thursday:

You may recognize Corey Graves

Future of Honor Friday:

So it's sounding like Ricochet is headed to the WWE.

Waiting on Fami's confirmation :keke:

For his sake I hope they don't banish Ricochet to 205 Live.

WWE can't keep signing everybody without releasing somebody. Especially with how shitty their profits were last quarter. Something has to give.

Few things

Rey Mysterio is reportedly NOT signing with GFW or WWE

And we have the final card for ROH Death Before Dishonor, September 22

Winner gets an ROH World Six Man Tag Team Championship shot later in the night:
The Kingdom (Matt Taven, TK O'Ryan, Vinny Marseglia) vs Bully Ray and the Briscoes

Chuck Taylor vs Marty Scurll

Street Fight:
Punishmen Martinez vs Jay White

Last Man Standing:
Jay Lethal vs Silas Young

ROH World Six Man Tag Team Championship match:
Bullet Club (Adam Page and the Young Bucks) (c) vs the winner of the Briscoes/Kingdom

ROH World Tag Team Championship match:
The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) (c) vs The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin)

ROH World Television Championship match:
Kushida (c) vs Kenny King

ROH World Championship match:
Cody Rhodes (c) vs NEVER Openweight Champion Minoru Suzuki

Stellar card. Young Bucks pulling double duty, says to me the Guns are finally gonna get their ROH World Tag Team Championship reign. If they do, they'll become the only team to have ever held all three of the ROH, TNA, and IWGP Jr Heavyweight tag team championships.
