I've just invested in a Neo one slot -old style- but have come across a small problem. My supergun is only wired for 3 buttons, I've been able to get around this for games like street fighter with kick looms. I have the manual for the board but there doesn't seem to be any mention of wiring for aditional buttons. Anyone know if the elusive forth button can be wired in from the board to my supergun?

Just out of curiosity when i plug my joysticks in via my supergun, the 3 buttons available are from the top row. When i plug the joysticks in via my one slot, the 3 buttons used are now on the bottom row. Its a 6 button joystick by the way Anyone know why this happens?

Or you can just play Puzzle Bubble which only requires 1 button!

That's actually what I did with my 1-slot mini in an NBA Jam cabinet. Now my mini is used with a MAS system, so I still only get three buttons there, but as Nimbus points out, it's fine for most non-fighters...Puzzle Bobble, Magical Drop, Twinkle Star Sprites, Metal Slug...

Hey, as it goes I've just ordered a Hyper Neo Geo today, after seeing some of the reviews it seems a mistake not to get one now while they are still readily available

Hehe, I have been avoiding 4 button games at the moment, I only have the shock trooper games which use 3, but i really wanna get the kof series.

Topic seems to have been lost somehow....

3 button is standard jamma.

Solder a wire the the pin next to button 3 on both p1 and p2 (ie upper and lower connectors). Ths is your p1 and p2 d button

hehe, yea the plot has been lost somewhat. I already know which pin is used for the D button. The question is, where does this wire come from when connected to the one slot?

My super gun is 3 button, on the back..there is a small slot...for wiring additional buttons. Now with streetfighter, you whack the loom onto the actual PCB, then wire the buttons into the slot in the back of the supergun.

Now what i need to know, where would i wire a similar loom on a One Slot MVS board?

See the dilema? Its prob simple to solve, just no one wants to help the nugget

Not sure I follow you.

The wire is soldered to the jamma connector next to button c. There is no extra wire on the 1 slot. It expects a d button.

This streetfighter loom you talk about doesn't exist for mvs cos there are no 6 button mvs titles.

Am I getting what you mean??
