ok so i just got a namco 256 with the gundam vs gundam next game. its a 1 player per cabinet game so my question is how do i link another cab with it? do i need another mobo or just another i/o in second cab with a harness between the 2? also the gundam game is a hdd game and i need a dvd to play tekken 5 so where can i get a dvd driver that works with the 256?

Seems like everything you need to know is listed here.
In the CD/DVD section it seems that most Hitachi/LG PC disc drives work (supporting the funky ATAPI commands) with the proper security dongle (which looks like a PS2 memory card) connected.
It also appears two System 256's mobo's linked together (via RJ45 switch/crossover cable) are required for some games, just like the Taito Type 2x SF4.
I don't own this (jacked up PS2) board, and have little interested in it. The above is simply my take on the information freely available round da interwebz.
