For those of you with experience troubleshooting MVS carts, judging by these photos, can anyone tell if this cartridge needs to be cleaned OR repaired? I don't have it in my possession and I'm sure that someone has experience with this type of graphical glitch. MS5 is the last game in the series that I need to complete my collection and I've been searching for this cartridge at a decent price. Rolling the dice on this one.

It looks like the CMC needs to be replaced on the CHAFIO pcb...good gamble.

So these chips can't be purchased new, and only salvaged from existing carts? I assume that the CMC chip has to come from the last 5 carts in the below list or any of the carts in the complete list, or only 90G06C7050 carts?

Your particular CMC would be salvaged from the following:
Jockey Grand Prix
The King of Fighters 2000
The King of Fighters 2001
Metal Slug 4
Rage of the Dragons
The King of Fighters 2002
Matrimelee
Pochi and Nyaa
Metal Slug 5
SNK vs. Capcom - SVC Chaos
Samurai Shodown V
The King of Fighters 2003
Samurai Shodown V Special

There is only two realistic options here..
