metal slug on saturn

I just ordered samurai shodown II for the neo geo and metal slug for the saturn. My question is how good was the conversion of metal slug? I would like to get all the metal slugs on cart but I'm not bill gates yet. I bought ms for a quick fix, will I get my money"s worth?

Saturn version isn't bad, better than PS.
But, but, but Metal Slug X on PS is really really good. Make sure you get import version or wait til US one (will release sometimes in Spring)

I think the Saturn Metal Slug is good. It is very close to the Neo-CD version, and I'd guess it's the next best thing. There are a few minor details of the cart game that got left out (like the arrow signs juddering and the announcer's "MISSION COMPLETED!") but these were also missing from the Neo-CD game.

The sound on the Saturn isn't as good as the Neo Home cart as well as the CD version. If you listen to both the CD version and cart...you can hear the siren at the begining the guy is cranking....in the Saturn version it's almost silent....I think the game is really good other than minor sound problems. Hope that helps....

The game looks pretty much identical for the saturn. The only drawback i noticed other than the sound, was the slowdown when you are on the boat with the mounted machine gun.
