Hi all,

I'm looking for a 246 JV power Harness (as pictured in the diagram bellow). My 246 board came with the harnesses and a pcb for 15k cabs. I would be interested in a trade or buying the power harness.

I'm also looking for some naomi based move strips for my cyber leads. I use my cyberleads almost exclusively for naomi since they have 31k monitors and the lower move space just looks so white and lonely :crying:

As this part is not that common, I think it'd be easier to just order the connector housings and pins and crimp your own cable. You don't even need a dedicated crimper. You can use a pair of wire strippers, some pliers, and just go slow. If you want to make sure you've got a solid connection, you can add some soldier, if needed.

For the Namco 246/256 power plug, you will need:

JST Sales America Inc SVH-41T-P1.1
455-1319-1-ND

--Pinout:
1 - 5V
2 - 5V
3 - GND
4 - GND
5 - 12V
6 - GND

For the JVS side, you'll need:

JST Sales America Inc VLR-08V
455-2359-ND

JST Sales America Inc VLR-06V
455-2358-ND
http://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/VLR-06V/455-2358-ND/1883072

JST Sales America Inc SVM-42T-P2.0
455-2348-1-ND

For the wire (16-20awg), if you have a dead computer power supply or some old Molex power cables, then you have it on hand.

I have one. :)

Building them is the way to go. You can build two out of the cable that you have now for the JAMMA board.

Feel free to shoot me a PM if you have questions. I used to make these pretty often. I think I still even have a box of pins and molex in the closet.

I should have a lot of ~15 original JVS power adapters arriving shortly, but yeah, if you need them fast, making them is your best bet- as Supasaru states, you technically have half the parts already to make 2, you'll just need the VLR-06V and 08V housings and contacts...

aoiddr, thanks for the help, I know finding the connectors would have been a pain in the ass. I also appreciate the support Supasaru.

Putting the cable together wasn't really that hard.
