Is it a DANGER ZONE to download a new OS?

I was just wondering what everyone does when it comes to trying new OS? Do you pay the hundreds of dollars? Buy bootlegs? Or just download?

Seems dangerous to me to download something like Windows XP. Too many ways to track it or something and Bill Gates will find out and murder my family.

So is anyone in the know? I've been living in '98 for the longest time now. I still make butter by masturbating a stick into a bucket of cream.

thanks.

Meh, just get WinXP Professional off some site (www.theforums.ws is a good place to get a HTTP link) or from a P2P.

I've got enough legal copies mooched off from school/uni anyways.

Microsoft's double-install policy on CD's is a bitch. The CD's corrupt themselves after two installs, so they're just asking for piracy.

Was just kidding about SP3 X_X

I still only have SP1 installed.
SP2 is too much of a bitch for me to bother with.
