From what I understand, the KOF and Fatal Fury storylines are separate. So while Geese is dead in the Fatal Fury universe, he is not in the KOF one.
In other words, SNK (or whoever else is making the games) can make up the rules as they go along cause it's their game

In the Garou/Fatal Fury series, he's dead. But in KOF he's not.

linking the KOF storyline and FF, he was dead a lot a lot of time, a least, he never be beaten by freak punks with K´9999 and Iori <img src="graemlins/veryangry.gif" border="0" alt="[Very Angry]" /> .

No, he survived FF1. He didnt' die until RBFF2.

No he died in Real Bout 1. That is all.
He survived the fall in FF1. Which is why you will see him with a massive scar on his back in his return in Fatal Fury 3. In any case FF3's Geese was an imposter, he doesn't actually make a proper appearance until Real Bout 1. In Real Bout 1 history repeated itself when he once again fell off a damn scyscraper and died for good.
RBS and RB2 do not follow the storyline. They were dream matches. Tung Fu Rue who was dead after FF1 also makes a return in these games.
The KoF storyline and FF storyline where closely linked but after KoF 97 the two stories must have changed. I thought they were still linked until I saw Geese return as a special striker in KoF 2000. Oh well.

They should just bring him back and not kill him off anymore. He's a really cool character and they could cover up by just giving a bogus reason. I mean c'mon, how many movies/shows/anime titles have you seen where they bring back a dead character by throwing in a lame excuse? (dragonball comes to mind)

He has been thrown off skyscrapers(and survived) so many times that it counts as a hobby. Means little.
I think he would be really cool in MOTW2.

1. Geese likes to fake his own death so much Billy can tell whether he's really dead or not. Of course, he ain't telling.
2. Just because Kaede or Shermie or King Lion are special strikers in 2000 doesn't mean they're alive. That's like saying Jae and Dong were actually their MOTW age in 2000.

Hold it. I was under the impression (and am convinced by playing it) that Geese is Grant. The game drops several clues. And yes, Geese loves to fall off tall skyscrapers, but they really need to bring him back along with Mr. Big. Geese and Mr. Big are two of the baddest motherfuckers around.
