What would a Sega Astro City fetch these days? East Coast, NYC is the closest city.

Check out Matt Cloer dba GndZro on Facebook. He brings candy into the Carolinas.
He’ll work with you; has spread sheets of what’s available and when, and is open to using Michelle from STi/Beltmann for shipping.

An Astro ain't going for $4,000 unless it has been used privately for the entirety of its life. The upper limit is probably closer to ~$2,500.

This.

Although there are some chumparoonies that offer 6k+ for one on A-P lol

Yeah the $1,500-$2,500 range (depending on condition/burn-in/etc.) seems to be the going rate for sane people. Expecting things to cost what they did ten years ago is moronic and fundamentally misunderstands supply and demand but the flippers and dipshits trying to get $4k+ for common candies are fucking criminals.

I paid like $600 for mine back in 2005-6

Ah the good ol' days.

Paid $250 for my Neo25 with a 4 slot and 11 games.
Found a Street Fighter II in a zback for free on craigslist (oh it doesnt work - reset the breaker. boom)
Paid $150 for a Tekken Tag in a dynamo at an auction
Bought a Samducksa Crowin Case with Alien Vs Predator CPS2 for $450
Found a Megalo 410 for $150 and it came with Battle Circuit CPS2 and KOF2003 PCB.
$80 for a working Killer Instinct PCB.
$40 (SHIPPED!) for a Primal Rage PCB.

Gone are the days of old, sadly.
