FS: New Net City

I picked this up from this short mexican dude in the bay area not too long ago. Well, it was fun, but it's time for it to go, it's not getting the love it deserves.

1050$ - located in Redwood City, CA.

The good

- burn free tri-sync Tosh PureFlat ( aka best arcade monitor EVER made ) with extended menu remote board ( codecrank special )
- RiverService Jamma conversion loom installed ( like http://triplemoonstar.brinkster.net/theshed/default.asp?stockid=1577 but with CPS2 connector for the extra buttons )
- CGA/AMP cable installed to connect RS loom to proper video input on monitor
- stock speakers replaced with Pioneer 2-way speakers

The bad
- cig burn
- need retr0brite'd
- marquee holder damaged
- 3/4 locks are tube locks. cash box one is a minwa magnetic lock
- missing a screw cover... might down inside the cab. lost it while working on the cab

Great price. The monitor in these machines are as close to perfection as one gets with a crt. Codecrank is legit folks, scoop this up.

Looks well taken care of, shKimiould sell to a lucky buyer.

1050 seems a tiny bit steep though, considering it doesnt have the og silver new net city panel. But I understand the premium for burn free and the jamma harness.

This is for sure a nice cab, if you had to have just one, this would be a top pick.

He did have an original panel, but he drilled it out to make a sega bass fishing panel.

I think 1050 is fair given all the improvements.

A pile of these sold awhile back for $950 without the add ons. The price is more then fair considering the speakers alone are a $50 upgrade.

I did a few years ago it didn't last. I tried vinyl dying to as it was recommended, it's the same result as painting, I was able to sand off the white with a few passes of 400 grit sand paper, the plastic is not soft enough to dye, so the answer is paint :-) vinyl dye will work but just top coating like painting so might as well paint it's more durable with a hard enamel paint anyways.
