FS: Modded Genesis and Mega CD 2

I'm saying goodbye to my Genesis/Sega CD setup. Please give these fine items a good home. Prices include shipping in the US. PayPal preferred.

Sega Genesis Model 1 with S-video, stereo RCA, and US/JP region switch modifications - $75

I bought this Genesis at launch. It's in very good condition with only minor scratches and scuffs. Includes AC adaptor (not pictured) but no A/V cables.

Mega CD 2 with US/JP region switch modification - $125

Includes AC adaptor, box, manual, and various mounting and shielding plates.

Will this region modded Mega CD 2 work with my unmodded US Genesis 2, just curious?

I'm pretty sure the Sega/Mega CD is independant of the Genesis/Mega Drive regarding the region lock. I think the region switch is for Sega/Mega CD games as they are definitely region-locked.

Is that a VGA port on the genesis? Wow, that is one rare model...

Sorry guys, I forgot to subscribe to this topic when I posted it. Didn't know it received responses.

That port is labeled "EXT." I'm guessing they put it there with the idea that they'd release add-ons at some point that would make use of it.
