I built myself a PC right after Christmas to give Linux (Ubuntu) a try full-time, but making the transition from my current workflow has proved too disruptive and I've decided to stick with my Mac for now.
Asking $1100 plus shipping for the whole package. Current price on these parts is about $1500 and it's barely used (and already assembled). I'd be willing to part it out if necessary though.
- Antec P183 V3 case
- Asus P8Z68-V motherboard
- Intel Core i7-2600K 3.4GHz processor (quad core, hyperthreading for 8 virtual cores)
- Intel 320 Series 160GB SSD
- WD Caviar Blue 500GB SATA HDD
- EVGA GeForce GTX 550Ti 2GB video card (dual DVI and one HDMI output)
- 16GB (4GBx4) Corsair Vengeance DDR3-1600 RAM
- LG Blu-ray drive (rewriteable)
- Seasonic 560W ATX power supply
A monitor, keyboard, and mouse aren't included, but that's what Newegg is for. No OS included unless you want me to drop some flavor of Linux on it for you.
Thanks for looking.
