How was that book. I was debating purchasing it or not.

I have the book you're referring to. I flipped through it and every page I turned to seemed to mention Final Fantasy in some capacity.

As for the book linked in the original post...DAMN, I wouldn't mind having that :)

I stand corrected. It's called Power Up , not 1-up.

In that book there are quite a few chapters that talk about import RPG's, the whole basis of localization and why (in my words) American game companies piss people off with pet peeves. And they did an incredible job of talking about the first 3 Famicom Final Fantasy games. That's one thing that made me buy that book.
