AES difficulty level

Neo-Geo-man and I was bithcing each other in #shmups as usual. He said that he had never beat the last boss in Slug 3 so I figured I'd do it before him.

To do this rather fair I figured I'd play at the same difficulty level as him.

From TSS i can get that MVS = level 4

Now what about

EASY
NORMAL
HARD

?? What are their corresponding MVS difficulties (1-8)?

MVS difficulty on AES = level 5.
Real men play on level 8 ONLY.

Just pick the the hardest level available (WHICH WOULD BE THE LAST LEVEL LISTED). In some cases "MVS" is listed as easier than hard, or vise versa.

The slug 3 difficulty levels are as listed:
Easy
Normal
MVS
Hard

Thus "Hard" is the most difficult, and should be the level that you play on. Well, if you are a MAN, that is..... wink

As odd as it may sound, I would say that "Hard" is closer to the MVS difficulty than "MVS". When their are only 4 difficulty levels it is hard to directly compare them to the 8 levels listed on the MVS version.

I'm just trying to help bro, If you need me to state it more clear for you, as far as MS3 goes:

Easy = Level 1 or 2
Normal = Level 3 or 4
Mvs = Level 5 or 6
Hard = Level 7 or 8
