I bought a MV1-FZS and there are 2 wires running under it from the bios to the secondary board connections. When i received the board the BIOS was not a authentic BIOS , it was a programmed eprom with a window and a sticker written SF2 on it . So i am wondering if the wires are for some kind of hack or to make this fake BIOS work . I replaced the fake BIOS with a Unibios and it works but i was wondering if i still need those 2 wires.

Any of the pro know what those wires are for ?

here an image of the underside.

I think those pins are GND and VCC. So this maybe a repair and they just choose to tap power and ground from the BIOS EPROM.

Thanks for the info! I'll check it out with my multimeter.

Man that board looks terrible :( Hopefully you didn't pay much for it.

Nope i didn't pay much for it but it works well especially with a unibios. So i cut the wires to see what would happen and i wanted to replace them anyway. So without the wires i get a cross hatch instead of the game. I soldered some 24awg wires and it works perfectly again. Feel more solid also.
