Hey everyone, hoping someone can give me some insight on this.
I've got a Neo Geo AES, first mobo, NEO-AES, stuck in Watchdog aka the click of death. All pins of the BIOS are communicating with the 68000, all pins needed to make BIOS pin 20 work are connected, however I'm still unsure about pin 20. The 68000 work RAM has been replaced, no lifted pads or broken traces from what I saw when replacing it.
The interesting thing is that the clicks are random when no cart is inserted. However, when a cart is inserted, the clicks are constant and fast.
I still have to check ground and 5v to the BIOS, but the pads looked fine when I checked with a microscope.
Thanks for any insight you have to offer.
