Easily the funniest series of books ever written, although the earlier Discworld books have plots that are more about being there to pave way for jokes and the later ones really crack down on balancing the whole thing so they become a bit more focused on telling a deeper story.

It's not really a remake of the 80s movie as that one was only loosely based off of the book and this is a bit more close to the source material.

I tried Avowed and hated the gameplay.
I kept getting my ass kicked by loads of enemies I couldn't even see most of the time. I wasn't sure if I was doing something wrong, but regardless, I was not having fun and was playing it on Gamepass for a month so my time ran out anyway.
