Anyway, I'm not JHunter, I do have an account on NGF's board and it's under the same name: JHendrix. Although I don't post there much anymore as the forum is kinda dead. I haven't played Zuappa yet and if I ever get it (doubtful), it'll be on MVS. And I would never write something like that to NGF. I haven't dealt with them, but I have talked to Chris a few times and I thank/praise him for the tech help he's given me (which was sound advice/help). I talked to Dion once back in the day about how people hated him and such (when I was still confused about the whole NGF situation).

Anywho, if NGF wants to claim they sold 300+ Zupapa AES carts then more power to them, even if they're lying who cares? Most people should know what they're getting into when they buy neo stuff, and I think they are selling it as a converted cart. So it does look kosher to me, as far as I know.

I had never before heard of NGF before coming to www.neo-geo.com. Lucky me! I gave their site a cursory glance just now. Pictures of the Zupapa "documents," art, etc. Those people are pitiful and obsessed. <IMG SRC="smilies/ohno.gif" border="0"> It reminds me of all the half-witted crazed people who my poor friends in the call center at my work have to deal with. They want to be taken seriously SOOO bad. Unfortunately, they're missing a few nuts. I wonder if there is some legal recourse someone here could recommend for a willing customer who was taken in by their prevarications (there's more than one here, sure!). How do you rid the Internet of a fraudulent site? I guess I could ask my girlfriend, she's in law school...I know at least one other member of these boards is in law school too; speak up if you have any ideas.

the only "claim" I am concerned with right now is the pre-pay of 400 supposed "official" NGH format Zupapa's sold to this community yet you have over two thousand subscribers here and NOT "one",NOT "one" member of the rolls has purchased this game?? Noone has stepped forward and displayed proof??
This is a serious matter because it is a perfect example of the blatant "FRAUD" & "DECEPTION" NGF has been able to get away with for years. THERE IS NO EXCUSE in supporting these types of practices! I don't care if you've had a successful deal in the past! It is the way NGF conducts themselves that should make a person NEVER,EVER want to do business with them again! Same thing goes for Buyrite because if they do this to others it's just a matter of time before some act of "fraud" is committed against you!
Don't get me wrong,the "free" technical advice is harmless,no risk involved but sending NGF your money is a proposition where you need to know "deal with @ your own risk."

It's taking entirely "too long" for "one" person to step forward with evidence so now I want "ten" people to step forward with "proof",definitely not alot to ask of a release that receive four hundred pre-pays!

I am so close to ordering this cart from NGF just to get a picture for the boards (not that the game would ever ship if I did order it), and because I want to put an end to NGF once and for all. If someone (any of us REAL Neo fans) on these boards ordered that game and was screwed by NGF we would have a legal case against them. I don't think that there is anyone willing to throw away $320 for that cause, but if someone else is willing to do it with me, then I may think about it. You know......for the good of the Neo Geo and all that. Big Bear I think you should do this. I understand how much this is pissing you off, but I also think you need to take some kind of action as well.

This is a situation where "outside interference" is not necessary...
"outside interference" could make things "bad" for everyone and I don't want this..
We don't need a whole new set of internet rules put in pace...
What people need to do is practice some "self control" People need to stop"condoning" NGF type behavior by not doing business with them.
They will soon "wither away"....

well All i have to say is I am sure they will put up the scans eventally. More then likely after they complete it with the MVS marquee which they will asuredely do.

but really if they just said they were converting the cartrideges and making the artwork, I could care less. I still would not buy it because of all they stand for but that would even go if Snk posted on thier site the NGF was the american disturbutor. Which they are not of course. The whole thing about them wanting to replace SNK is what is so wrong.

Chris and Dion are so full of BS. After all they were so proud to show all the KOF 2K stuff, why is Zupapa not as proudly showned now weeks after the release?

Exactly how many more people do you want to get riped off before they "wither away?" I don't doubt for even a second that you really want NGF gone and out of the Neo Geo scene for a second, but you can't just sit there and wait for them to go away. I don't care how many people you tell that NGF is NO GOOD, there is still going to be that select few morons that buy from them. That will keep them going long enough to destroy the little bit of what is left of Neo Geo.

They have done enough damage. It's time that NGF be put to rest. I really don't know what else to say about this. You and I and a hundred other people know that NGF is WRONG, but that is not enough to get rid of them.
