the whole reason why the game (rocked) and continues to rock is cause it's 'different' and not your avarage fighter.

It was a very "quirky" japanese type fighter. I love that shit. The gameplay didn't suck either. The fact that this is coming out on the Neo, which is known for doing great fighters, and taking an already great one, is almost a certain that it will be an ace fighter. There's really no other reason to believe otherwise, until it comes out.

Yup yup.

I'm also looking forward using ole' Granny again. The Neo has a great lineup of "serious" fighters, so a more weird type of game is a good idea IMO.

At least it's a new (new in Neo terms) concept for the old Neo, not another sequel to an existing series, tho I have a good feeling about KoF2k2.

Looks lovely in the pic-though lets wait and see how she turns out in the game itself. In the previous ones she was...well,too scary....

And i am glad that they are back to the old character design.
The graphics in 'Groove on Fight' were a little bit too weird for my taste. :(

All of those characters are from Power Instinct 2, which, IIRC, first came out in arcades in *1993*, and made it to the Japanese PSX in 1995, so of course those designs look a little dated. :)

Power Instinct 2 is still a decent fighter considering its age; the game is very comical, which explains some of the odd character design, like the Kintaro lookalike that transforms into the dog-man.

The sequel to PI2, Groove On Fight, is an excellent tag-team style fighter, that only has both Oume sisters(the old ladies that throw their dentures and can transform into their younger selves when they kiss their opponent) from the older games, and a brand new cast. I guess it would be cool to have characters from Groove On Fight with characters from PI2, but I hope those empty slots on the character design page are for new fighters.

Anyway, I'm looking very forward to seeing how this game turns out, and it's rather ridiculous for some of you to be putting the game down when not even a screenshot has been released yet. :)
