Man I had no idea gtav would have the nice first person modes like that, especially for shooting etc - the game has come a long way.
One day if I scoop a ps4 I might get this for funnin around, but for me vice city has always been my favorite.

Patience my friend. It's going to be worth it just for the better res and frame rate. These console peasants who beta test this game are reporting mostly positive comments albeit a few frame rate drops for consoles. It will only get better for PC. Everything is going as planned.

First-person is pretty damn entertaining.

Driving is ridiculous, though- how the hell do you set it so the view automatically swaps back to third-person when you drive but stays in FPS for everything else? I've looked through the control settings for freaking ever now, seems like, and I can't find an option for it.

I also had forgotten just how damn silly (awesome) Republican Space Rangers is.

Just picked up the "New Perspective" Trophy for spending more than 15 hours in first-person. The whole experience is so much more immersive with the surround sound cranked up. Driving is now so much easier for me too.
