So, I haven't got a PS4 yet, is it worth the extra money for the improved frame rates, etc.. in games. I don't have a 4k tv and have very little interest in getting one either.
Aren't several games running WORSE on PS4 Pro?
Between that and no 4K blu-ray capability, I'm planning to hold off for a year. I'm hoping that competition from the Scorpio forces Sony to create a better version of the Pro.Yes, something about frame rate drops due to upscaling.

Yup, for me it makes no sense since I'm always kind of late to the tech party.

Yup, for me it makes no sense since I'm always kind of late to the tech party. My main Gaming TV is a 50 inch plasma that does 1080p. By the time I upgrade to a 4k tv the ps5 will be out and the ps4 pro will be like $150.

So wait... Is Horizon Zero Dawn gonna require the ps4 pro? Because that'd be some bullshit.

Nope. Just support it.
I picked up a PS4 Pro on launch day.
Very underwhelming. Instead of focusing on better 1080p quality and constant 60fps, Sony is only concerned with being able to claim 4K. Played with it a couple days and then boxed it back up.
Contemplating selling it off. No sure if the Sony exclusive games justifies keeping it.
