Do you suppose that it will work over here if I import it?

Eldios said:I have the Japanese one. It works fine here. I like it much better than the PSP browser, but to be honest, do not use it very often.
Hmmm... NCSX has the Japanese one in stock. Oh what the hell, I'll order that one.bokmeow said:Sweet. I may pick it up in Japan when I go on vacation at the end of October then. I'd like to have the ability to enter Japanese text for searches. I'm assuming the European release has all the Japtastic stuff stripped out.
So which UK member wants to pick one up for me and ship it over here?Eldios said:Just to let you guys know that there is no language select on the Japanese one, so it might be a bit difficult to use if you can't read basic Japanese for the menus.
Does it actually look that good in the Lite? As in, how is the ram cart sized so that it works with both DS versions?bokmeow said:
They have two versions of the cart regular and lite.Murray said:Does it actually look that good in the Lite? As in, how is the ram cart sized so that it works with both DS versions?

bokmeow said:Evidently all the mail programs --- Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail --- all work great with the Opera DS browser, which is pretty much the meat of what I expect out of a browser on the go... I might check out the nudie pics just to experience the novelty, but reading text and sending mail will transform my DS to an inexpensive Blackberry without the exorbitant subscription cost

well.. the blackberry still has the thumb board
but, this looks pretty cool.
is the browser just opera mini, or is it a custom version made for ds?
How much would one cost shipped to Florida (with a little extra money for your time)?J0e Musashi said:I got both JPN and PAL. It rocks. I'll do UK versions to any USA-types that want it too. I'm feeling nice today

I'm staying away until a more refined version is released
I'll fully admit that IGN isn't the most streamlined of internet designs, but it can at least be pulled into a PC, even a five year old laptop, in a few seconds via broadband. On the Nintendo DS, if it ever does completely download, it takes between three and five minutes to get the front page.

The DS has much much less.
I think this is a case of just expecting too much out of something.
The cartridge for the GBA slot is the ram expansion right?Nesagwa said:A 5 year old computer has, I dunno, about 128mb of ram.
