Meh it looks better on my GP2X. ;)

If you say so :kekeke:

Atleast this one is a no-brainer. No need to adjust settings from game to game

Well you don't have to if you prefer to keep the same setting for every game.

The option of having a different config (68K, Z80 clock) for each game is just the icing on a cake...:p

Are the roms still in that shitty format? GP32X uses some shit form of the roms.

The smaller games are just the same.

The bigger size games grpahic roms have to be "dumped" into a .gfx files, but the emulator will prompt you to do it. :)

The emu will do the convertion for you, so you don't even have to sweat it..
The PSP will only be able to run old games, It will never run
KOF 2k and UP
Samsho 3 and up
and all those latest games.
It will aslo never run MOTW or MS3-4-5 Becuase of the Memory limits it has.

So in a way GP2X is the best way to go, for true full support.

Man,MAME roms are so tiny!

I can probably fit every single working MVS rom on my 1GB card :kekeke:

Blazing Star,Nightmare in the Dark,SamSho II,NeoTurfmasters, and Twinkle Star Sprites on the go w/o any loading time is SWEET!

I'm rocking SamSho 3 on mine right now, nigga. Quit hating :glee:

For the larger games, you can place a 'cache' file and it will run w/o any problem.

Take that!

Hating?
Nah, I still love my PSP a little more than the GP2X (thanks to the gp2x joystick:angry: )
The PSP allready plays my Favorite game perfect KOF 99
but If I want to play LB2 it loads for them ever..
Now if the PSP could do MOTW then I'm sold on the PSP ALONE.
Right now the GP could play MOTW no problem.

Another Big plus since I don't have a 1.5 is that I don't need to have GTA just to play my games on the go.

Well, you should try this new emu, then.

Since it is running MAME roms, there's no loading after the initial load.

The newer games aren't working right now,but I'm sure they will be up to speed soon.

Any way to play them on a 2.5?

I think you can launch it using eloader w/GTA exploit.

Check out the link in my original post for more info.

I just tried this emu and it's incredibly good, I wouldn't have bought the GP2X if it had been available some weeks ago...

By the way, I also needed to convert some roms to get a cache file for them to work in the emu.

This shit all sounds complicated to me. I guess that's why I haven't bothered with this stuff.

The new version is out. Supposedly, the missing sound issues in the previous release have been fixed (crossing my fingers for a fully-working MD3 and SW series).

You can get the new vers. here: www.pspupdates.com

Huge update:

Most games are now working w/sound! Quite a few encrypted titles seem to be working properly, also.

Life is good.

It's fairly simple if you have a 1.50 PSP. All you need to do is d/l the neo-geo emu psp packet, unpack it,then stick the two folders (ngepsp/ngepsp%) under psp/game. However, you'll need to locate the neo-geo bios and romz (mame romz will do just fine) in order to get it up and running. Once you've acquired the bios and romz, simply place them inside the roms folder within psp/game/ngepsp/roms.

For larger games, you'll need to create a cache file for them. Use the included converter and select the rom you want to cache. Once the cache has been created, place it inside the cache folder within psp/game/ngepsp/cache.

However, since this is still a beta, some larger/newer games still doesn't have full sound support. So far,I've only tried MS3 and Sengoku3. Both games are playable w/o sound.

If you get a JP PSP that has 1.5 firmware, will it still work with all the emulators and stuff?

And to think... I once had a 1.5 PSP... :crying:

Yes,it will.

BTW,if you haven't upgraded pass fw. 2.60,there's still a chance that you might be able to downgrade it back to 1.50.
