See if anyone can help me on this:
I have a domain name that is uses a Zone Area File where the A types are pointing to an I.P. number.
NOW. This IS the correct I.P. Number, I know it is because I did a reverse NS search on the domain name BUT if you just type in the domain name...you get an error from the webhosting "no web page set up here"..or something to that effect.
Now, that's not my problem but it may come into play as I want to direct this new URL NOT to that I.P. number but a sub directory within that I.P.? Anyone following me?
Example:
The URL currently points to 213.171.193.13
I want to point it to, essentially 213.171.193.13/blaine/
That's an invalid A address for a Zone Area File.
What do I have to do to get around this, if anything?
Is it simply impossible?
I see this not getting answered right away so expect bumps <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">.
