I got a MVS MOTW cart. Bought it a few months back off a reputable seller here. Been playing the rom due to convenience sake and i finally powered up the MVS version today.
What strucked me was :
1 : The controls on P1 seems messed up. Yes, I've tried the buttons config options and for some fucked reason, some buttons wouldn't register. P2 works fine though. I tried it countless times and it's like that. Verified with other carts I have like KOF 95 and Slug 3. No stupid shit like my MOTW cart.
2 : Got frustrated and took the cart apart. Though both boards are SNK made, I saw 4-5 Eprom chips and also a short little wire soldered onto one of the chips.
So I was wondering wassup with that?
It certainly was not a bootleg. It was sold to me as an authentic JAP MVS MOTW and I paid US$70 for it.
Are the eproms normal in encrypted games like KOF 2K, MS3, MOTW etc etc? I also took apart my MS3 and i didn't see a mess like my MOTW cart. MS3 works perfect btw.
HELP!!!
Edit : Problem solved. Mods pls delete.
