DevilRedeemed said:maybe this will sound a bit arrogant, but maybe you should change the name of the game? Last Hope - even if it is in the tradition of Last Resort - is quite frankly a weak title. maybe this is just the work-in-progress title?
if we are taling 700 dollars for a cart I'm not sure I and others would be able to put down that kind of money. you would have to provide in depth info on the game, show videos - it would even be wise to have someone independently review the game, though this might not be interesting to you.
lastly: if you make a scrolling beat 'em up of a high quality, I would definetly put down that kind of money. that's what is really missing from the neo geo library - a high quality side scrolling beat 'em up. maybe even a Contra style game.

Price:
The pricing will be quite high, atleast 2 x SNK pricing. You have to consider that we had high development effort and costs, furthermore it will be a limited run. Developing a 2D game with this quality from scratch took a lot resources. We have to ensure with the pricing that we can continue with high quality independent game developing in the future.
MVS release:
I'm not sure this will happen in the near future (e.g. 3 months). In the beginning the pricing would be similiar to the homecart price, which is quite hefty for the home mvs market. But if there is enough demand, everything is possible.
So first comes the AES release. We will see what happens after that.
Gameplay:
In short it's a classic memorize shmup with some modern elements and a new satellite system.
More gameplay relevant details will be posted this weekend, as the Last Hope homepage will be openend then. A movie will follow soon after that.
Best regards,
Timm

Fran said:fake shit
i wouldn't want to try it if i was given 20 $
but no wait, you want people to PAY for fake unofficial crap ?
people, the shooters on the neo are the ones made by snk / yumekobo / sammy
that's it
if you are so desperate for new good shooters there are tons coming out for the playstation 2
but that's not even the point
i am actually offended that people dare to develop stuff on my beloved neo geo
leave it the alone,please
For $700, would you like to retract your statement?Fakk2 said:WoW, I'd buy that on AES in a heartbeat. Who cares what the price is, bring it on!!
Well the dream is dead.NG:DEV.TEAM said:2 x SNK pricing
