I'd rather get Ryan's "Spam" email than have to wade through post after post of Neostore-Hype Monkey propaganda on these very forums.

Now instead of just replying and typing "remove me" in the subject you went through all of this trouble and time. I'm glad my life isn't as boring as yours.td741 said:Hmm... Checks the e-mail account that I only use when registering on forums. Spots offending e-mail, click on "Report as Spam"...
Hmm... Quick look it appears that the His website hosting provider is: http://www.underdoghosting.com/ .
Going by the DNS indicated here:
NS2.UNDERDOGHOSTING.COM 216.127.72.113
NS3.UNDERDOGHOSTING.COM 216.127.79.18
You can try sending a complaint to abuse@underdoghosting.com . But I don't see that e-mail address listed on their site. Just remember that you are getting spam from JapanGamesNow.com which appears to be hosted by them.
Seriously, if you want to mention that your website is up and running, POST on the website. Don't scrape e-mails from forum members and start spamming people. So far, all that work manages to piss people off and I know that I won't be buying anything from that store.

But what about Teh Dr4m4 ? There would be nothing left to do but actually talking about gaming.SHO said:all the drama because of 1 email...
seriously... complaining only creates publicity for him
if you don't want to give him publicity just stop complaining

This is twice now.
Whether they're selling Viagra, Porn, or Neo Geo, it's unsolicited email. The proprieter can't even claim he tricked you into subscribing, since it was a "cold" email. Unlike EW, I see spam as a prick thing to do.
I figure he used a combination of php skills / scripts to scan the forum for the @ sign and put all the email-adresses into a database. Then he weeded out the non-valid mail adresses. And now he's weeding out the people who bitch like me.eclypse said:I'd just like to know how you got my email in the first place?

Imagine this is the 90's and every shop is stocking neo-geo hardware at (for that time) high prices. Now imagine that all those stores are on-line stores. They hire a php/sql geek, that programs a little harvester for them, and behold, now you get 24 weekly newsletters you did not subscribe to, a daily update or 5 and at least 10-20 special offers since they want to sell the high-priced neogeo gear..
Spam is Spam. There are actually LAWS prohibiting the sending of spam. I guess most of you pro-spam people haven't been on the internet that long, since you don't know the unwritten rules. Imagine a client-in-dos-based internet back in 1993, and a spam-free world. w00p. No popups, only boot-virii. Bla bla..
@EW:Imagine you'd get email for all your hobbies or things you liked, without subscribing to anything.. Imagine being called for interesting offers on all the things you like..
