My kid got stitches, no biggie. Just earning his big boy stripes. He loves watching games like Fieldrunners, and Plants vs Zombies, so he and I were locked onto the screen the whole time.

My lil dude got the glue earlier this year...on some Sabu shit, lol.

Hah, right on. My little dude got his forehead glued last year. It was totally gnarly. He couldn't stop looking at himself in the mirror with that big gash. He thought it was way cool. I told him it's probably the first in a long line of gashes.

This game is balls hard.

that does look hard, and i imagine it is even worse with touch controls. i would never buy such a game without tactile controls.

The game's controls in the walking parts are alright, you get used to them. I loved how they made The Giant Claw a boss in the game along with The Screaming Skull and you can even see a broken down Tom Servo in the second stage.

The worst part about the game is the 5th stage. It's a flying stage with one hit kills, when the rest of the game has a life bar. This wouldn't be bad but if you die midway in the 5th stage the halfway point they put you at makes you have to fly through small openings while being attacked by enemies. The game starts you off in the middle of the screen and you have to go down really fast and try to shoot down the enemies that'll smash into you. There's a delay for when the game gives you back controls but the game keeps moving so you always slam into something. I really hope they fix it with a patch, every time I've gotten up to that part I've had a stockpile of extra lives and I waste them all on that one part because you don't have enough time to do anything.

thought it was kind of cool that they put that DS FF3 remake on there

at $16 there's no way i'd buy it, but it's an interesting venture nonetheless

I just saw that Bastion is out for $5 on the iPad. Anyone give this a shot? No 360, but I heard great things about this game.

I picked up Eufloria a while back. I've probably put about 10 hours into this game and it's a relaxing atmospheric strategy title at a fraction of the PSN cost.

Bastion is one of my favorite games this generation and possibly of all-time

Had to necrobump this. Just saw Crazy Taxi was released and Sega got the rights to all of the music, unlike the PS3 and 360 releases. It's 5 bucks and I heard some good reviews. I'll end up doing a video of it for my site. Hopefully it'll be fun.

It's pretty much Infinity Blade with Batman. You swipe the screen, to dodge attacks, you can use items, block and whatnot. I got it on sale for 99 cents and haven't played though half of it. Of course you can drop more money into it by paying to unlock costumes. If it's on sale for a buck then it's alright, but I wouldn't bother at full price when you can get better games for the money.
