The price I paid for...

-King of Fighters '98 - nothing, a gift from a friend for my birthday.

-King of Fighters '99 - Y38500 the day of its release, in Japan.

-Last Blade (good condition / ~80%) - 200 Euros in a videogames shop.

-League Bowling - 60 Euros.

-Samurai Spirits - 50 Euros.

Just to list a few. I bought most of my carts from second hand shops or from specialized retailers. I do not care in what condition the game comes in as long as the case is not broken and the cart will play on my AES.

I knew this was going to happen.
As soon as one mentions KE everybody starts picking on you.

I don´t have it anymore because I sold it back in 1997 to Velimir and I think he sold it to Adol.
I sold all my Neo Geo AES things back in 1997 or swapped them to MVS.

In 2002 I started again with AES stuff.

When I sold KE I actually made a rather big loss.
No one had heard about the game and the ones who did knew it wasn´t the greatest SNK fighter. So I swapped it to Velimir (Vojvodina) for 1-Slot MVS.

:(

This is a common Neo scene ;)
We're very sensitive to the word "Euro" when you talk about KE.....

What's so great about Kizuna Encounter anyway?...

Joust on Atari VCS 2600 beats it.

Nothing!
It is a really crappy Fighter! It sold very badly and that is why it became so "rare".

Thats why I sold my Kizuna as well. I was so disappointed about the game that I quickly wanted to get rid of it. One stupid mistake, but who would think such a bad game would become so valuable

Damn I dunno if I should ever list all my carts and the price I paid for them!

Yikes... so many.

Some good deals I have gotten:

-Kizuna Encounter Japanese for $240 Shipped from Japan

-Ninja Masters' US for $200

-Samurai Shodown IV US for $250 (New)

-Blazing Stars for $265 (NCS)

-Neo Geo System with 2 joysticks and Ghost Pilot/Top Players Golf (all loose cart/system) for $99

Now I have had some terrible buys as well:

-Stakes Winner US $200+ (forgot the exact amount)

-Ninja Commando US $160 (maybe more)

-Savage Reign US $100

-Samurai Shodown 1 for $60 and a SNES game (back then it was $50 so it comes out to $110)

Ebay

One of my very first ebay transactions

Bought a used NEO GEO system with memory card 2 controllers and like 15 games then turned around and resold all games because I wanted NEAR MINT copies as possible. So after selling all games it was like I had gotten my NEO GEO system for free and it is in very good condition. Thing is I would like to get one of these Arcade Ultra modded systems but they are like more than what it original cost back at day 1. Guess I will have to sell my system which I had modded last year.

NEAR MINT Fatal Fury 3 US like $85.00

NEAR MINT Baseball Stars 2 $65.00

NEAR MINT Aero Fighters 2 $90.00

These are my latest transactions that is why I remember them. Don't see how some folks remember the prices they paid of all their carts. All I know is that I paid great prices (always below the lowest price on said price guide) for all my carts otherwise I would never have bought them.

Patience! I have much. With patience I eventually get the right price. Besides I don't play them all that much. Not that I don't want to. Just not enough hours in the day to do it all!

1 old style stick
KOF 94 JAP - NM
Magician Lord - Bare cart
KOF 2001 JAP - NM
Samsho 2 JAP - NM

I've been into the AES scene for not even 2 months and I've spent $2000 on carts and systems...My friends and parents think I'm totally out to lunch <img src="graemlins/tickled.gif" border="0" alt="[Tickled]" />
