When discussing deals i think i got a pretty good one. I bought a new never before touched NEO GEO system incl. Magian Lord for about 300SEK (28$). Everything was in plastic bags and there was also a fancy catalouge called NEO GEO software 93 with pics of all the games released until then. This was at a toy shop in the town i live. I just went in and asked if they had any old videogames lying around( i collect all kinds of old videogames). I bought it about a month ago. I guess there are lots of neo deals to be done here in Sweden!.

I can blow all of your stories away. I was looking at a news paper one day about 2 years ago when I came across a ad for a Neo-Geo videogame that was being sold. I called the man who was selling and he told me to drive out to his house, so I did. When I got there he was really wanting to sell me the carts that he had, because he was showing them all to me over and over and over and over again. But....one cart stood out......Metal Slug1 (US VERSION). I looked at the man and said "how much do you want for that one???" he said "geez I don't know, but I don't think I would charge to much for it because, I don't like it that much". Trying to keep from laughing I told him that I would give him 40.00$ for it, and he said "That sounds like a deal to me!"............When I got home I just about laughed my brains out, and now I have a MINT MS1.

and it isn't for sale either... j\k

I think it was last December I saw an Ebay Auction that was ending...it was here in WA.

The reserve was not met, he listed his Auction as I am selling my older systems to buy some of the newer ones. I emailed him and offered him my PS2 and some games for his AES collection.

We Traded... I gave him my PS2 and Tony Hawk Proskater2 for his..

Neo Geo AES Gold System.... came complete with Black SNK Carrying bag, All the hookups, and 6 AES games and a boxed memory card... all very Mint...

Games were: Magician Lord, World Heros 2 Jet, Karnov's Revenge, Samurai Showdown, Samurai Showdown II, and I cant remember the last one....

anyways... I sold them on Ebay....to another member here

I only buy MVS games now ;)

I just recently acquired my first AES system so I am in the process of slowly building my collection.

I have not yet paid above $70 for a cart...the average price for me is anywhere from $21 to $70. I'm mostly focused on acquiring the common and old titles for my collection and eventually I will move on to the pricier stuff.

I've purchased the majority of games through members on this messageboard! Carlson (16-bit) and eBay have been other sources that I've used with no problems.
