I found my wins went up after I crafted Loot Hoarder and Leper Gnomes. I also got some other recommended cards off some online guides.

Quick questions - any awesome youtube channels for low level beginners (I have one arena win total)?

New wing of the dungeon being released today!

(Can't stop playing this game.)

I recommended it to wasabi, and I'll recommend it here again --watching Trump will level up your game immensely. He streams on Twitch, but I choose to watch the edited streams when he posts them to his youtube channel. He does arena runs, constructed decks (building decks from the best cards), and free to play decks (building decks from the ground up and crafting cards from earned gold along the way), and all while explaining his thought process, choices, and (usually) making the best plays with the most value. I learned A LOT from his channel regarding arena and learning to pick the best cards (which aren't necessarily the best cards for other style games, like ranked constructed).

Force Strategy Gaming also has some good Hearthstone videos, although they don't cater specifically to Hearthstone. They're good about finding good decks online (usually decks used by high level/champion players), putting them into practice, and explaining how the deck works during play.

Another good player is Hafu, although she doesn't talk about her thought process as much as Trump does. She's still a solid player you can learn from, though.

If you want to keep it interesting, there's a guy named TotalBiscuit who does a lot of gimmick and fun decks, and he explains his deck builds and thought process as he plays ranked games with them. He's not specifically a Hearthstone player either, though, so you'll have to search out Hearthstone videos in his video feed. Great player, though.

Now lastly, ESGN has Fight Nights that consist of tons of games (Hearthstone being one of them). This is actually nice because there's a host who knows what he's commentating on, and it's high level players grouping up in teams to face off over a myriad of decks. A player from each team usually hosts and commentates when they're not playing, so you also get another high level view of what's going on. It sucks that I read ESGN is folding, but there's still great Hearthstone matches to learn from on their channel.

A really good Fight Night from ESGN:

I haven't watched anything. But I have been winning regularly with my priest deck.

A lot of this game is luck of the draw. Nerubian egg is a funky card because your opponent won't kill it off, and you can lull most of them by pumping its health and then casting a spell to make strength equal health, or just put out a card that will give the eggs attack.

Think about it. Eggs that attack. And kill.

Casting Cold Blood on the egg turns it into a 4/2 that they'll want to kill, which turns it into a 4/4. Win/Win. Unless they silence it. Silencing eggs isn't cool at all.

Eggs with taunt is another sure fire way to give it birth.

But yeah, don't silence that egg man, give it life. Let it be free.

Had 6 wins on Arena last night, my best so far.

I'm pretty excited about the new cards coming this week. the 1/3 taunt that does a whirlwind for deathrattle is going to fit in really nice with my warrior control deck. I may even add back in the frothing berserkers...especially when the new warrior weapon is released. I have a new deck theory crafted, just need the cards to come out.

This is one of the coolest plays I've ever seen in Hearthstone:

There was a thread on reddit yesterday where someone took something like 200 damage from fatigue after having to draw 27 cards. They had 3 clerics.

Added wizkid and we had a fun set of matches.

Just added you, Jake.

I'm going to remake my paladin deck so I can have more variety when playing against you guys instead of the same 4-5 decks.

I never got one either. I have everybody else from here on my friends list. #Soilwork1642

Currently running a control hunter and a Naxx priest. It's a breath of fresh air from all the rogue and warlock I've been doing lately.

So I got easily my best drop so far. This was obtained from a 1/3 Arena Mage run.

Golden legendaries make my dick so hard. Even the shitty ones like Captain Greenskin.

Ha ha, they do have that arousal thing going for them.

But yeah, opening a new pack gives me the same exciting anticipation I had as a kid growing up collecting Basketball cards. It's just another totally awesome aspect of the game.

After I open a pack, I hover over the cards to see if they give off a glow. When I did this pack, two Orange and a Purple I was like, "Get Fucked!".

A truly rare pack!
