It's a PVM 2950Q. The one time I tried forcing PAL60 in USBloader GX my game definitely loaded in 50hz. It's a NTSC-U backup to begin with so I really don't get that, maybe my version of USBloader GX was bugged and an update fixes it.

what happened when you loaded it 50hz? Was the screen all jacked up?

It looked mostly fine but you could tell the vertical height was different and the interlacing looked different than a 60hz game. IIRC I switched between 50 and 60 to see if there was a difference and they both looked the exact same.

In USB Loader GX, underneath the option to force PAL60, there are three video options. Have you tried turning them on and off?

Gonna have to revisit and thoroughly play with said options next time the Wii is hooked up. Thanks all for the advice so far. Hopefully I can put my SCART RGB cable I bought to use before long :)

oh wait i think i misunderstood you. you were saying that you tried pal50 and pal60 and got the same result. i thought you were saying something else.

well then yeah what CrazyDean said. I'm pretty i did some tinkering with the settings so i might have clicked something to get it looking right. i'll have to double check a bit later to verify

My guess is it gets damaged in shipping and the buyer tries to get a refund.

This is more or less expected unless it's strapped onto a pallet. I just read that the monitor weighs 228 lbs, so it will have to be shipped freight. They can't expect someone to pick that up.

Is there some horizontal stretching going on or is it the resizing? Some parts look uneven like the width of the two I's near the super bars and the last column of pixels on U in HUGO.

Here's a couple zoomed in shots. When you adjust the H.Size in the PVM Menu does it not do uniform stretch across the whole screen?

i had mine picked up and packed by someone else for much cheaper than $900. Though i had to talk to someone on the phone and look for the cheapest options.

Also I should add that the DC looks beautiful on these rgb monitors. Really a match made in heaven.

I have a possible local lead on a PVM 14M2U. I would prefer a 20" PVM but are these smaller ones any good?

Often the 14s are regarded as better picture because they have the same number of lines as the 20s but in a tighter space.

14" PVMs are cool. Don't listen to the haters. You just need to sit a bit closer ;)

I just recently purchased a 14" & 8" to add to my 20". I'll post some comparison shots when I get them setup.
