Using Megatron as a foot pedestal for Starscream is a pretty cool display choice!

Robotic Foot Soldier from Series 11 of the 2014 Nickelodeon TMNT figures (if you haven't watched the show, the normal Foot Soldiers were all humans, like in the comics and first film, unlike the original TMNT cartoon). These mechanical ones are a gift to the Shredder from The Kraang and eventually pretty much replace Shredder’s human underlings (plus, because they’re robots, the TMNT can “murder” them indiscriminately during a fight). Methinks somebody on the show's design team must have been a fan of Mortal Kombat's Goro or Star Wars' General Grievous. Strangely, the extra arms are mounted in the middle of the figure's back, instead of the sides, which just looks wrong and like an amateur-ish custom job. I'm guessing that they retooled the normal Foot Soldier toy's torso to make this figure, and, for some reason, it just wouldn't have worked out to mount them properly at the sides, so, they had to do it this way (or maybe it was just done to improve the range of motion of the shoulder joints on the extra pair of arms). I think, if I were designing this character, I would have went all-out with six arms, because with the black coloration and bulbous red eyes, that would have given it a strong spider-like appearance (of course, six limbs works in the same way for an insect). For a figure with so many limbs, the articulation is pretty limited and disappointing--the hips and shoulders have pin-and-disc ball-joints, but there's nothing at the knees/elbows, not even cut joints, which is a waste, since the lower arms and legs are different colored plastic, rather than painted, pieces that are just plugged into the upper limbs anyway. Since I got mine loose yesterday afternoon for a steal, I'm missing all four accessories: circular saw, drill, sickle, and spiked mace weapons that pop-on over each of the hands.
