So, looks like I've played We Love Katamari for 6 hours so far on this device. It's certainly not the most demanding PS2 game out there, but it does indeed run full speed. The race level is more demanding, and I've had to bump up the performance profile in order for the device to handle it. But yeah, I've thoroughly enjoyed this so far, and I've been really impressed.

Those vids from goob asses who don't even have the device... Get a fuckin' life smdh

5. rebuild cores to latest versions.

Beta 3:
1. Update uboot to attempt to fix non booting issues for some devices.
2. Add standalone Yabasanshiro fixes and updates
3. Restore Adventurevision and Bally Astrocade, along with Arcadia 2001.
4. Fix Thememaster and update to latest.
5. Fix OTA Updater

Beta 4:
1. Fix hotkey, moved from C to F
2. Fix sleep to use less battery life, sometimes results in loss of wifi on wake needing a reboot.(thanks Christian Hatian)
3. Updated uboot again due to users still having failure to boot issues.
4. Fixed keybindings for stand alone pico 8(raspberypi aarch64 required).

Beta 5:
1. Updated uboot to fix issues with non boot

Beta 6:
1. Upgraded uboot to latest available version, resolved non booting issue.

2. Attempt wifi fix by upgrading wpa_supplicant to latest version.
3. Update underlying dependencies and replace some missing headers.

Beta 9:
1. Add hack work around to fix hdmi. Users must navigate to system and then advanced and select hdmi on, the device will make the needed changes and then shut down, connect the mini hdmi cable and turn the device back on. When using hdmi there is no open gl issue, all systems will work, simply switch naomi/dreamcast/atomiswave to using retroarch instead of retroarch32 and they will work as intended. The same is true in reverse, go to system and then advanced, select hdmi off, it will disable and power off, unplug hdmi before booting. If you turn it on by mistake the screen will be sideways, press start and shut down, then remove the hdmi cable. do not just unplug it or you will have issues.
2. Add taiwanese language to emulationstation thanks to densha.
3. Add daphne/hypseus controller config, still need to fix rotation. Thanks to Morfious.
4. Swapped retroarch menu toggle to l2+r2
5. Swapped retroarch quit to F, must tap twice. To use the hotkeys tap and hold, then use dpad up and down for brightness or left right for volume, the volume rocker still works as intended.
6. All sega systems that need it have been remapped to use the 6 button config out of box.
7. Fixed issues loading exfat SD2 cards. Reguardless if you set up your SD2 as NTFS or Exfat, or if you use the switch to SD2 or the included zip for the folder structure, you will be required to run the switch to SD2 script in system/advanced to load your SD2 as the roms card.
8. Added per game and system configs for numerous consoles/titles, thanks to TimeWarpGamer.
9. Fixed issue causing Panasonic 3do not to show up in emulationstation.

Beta 10:
1. Open GL fixed thanks to JohnnyOnFlame.
2. Amiga 500 and Amiga 1200 added.
3. Video/TV show playback restored(volume in movie isn't working, set it before launch).
4. Dreamcast and N64 along with Yabasanshiro Retroarch are tested and working.
5. SD1 will now auto expand at boot to fill up the card(takes a moment)
6. Added the ARC gamepad to the gamecontrollerdb.txt for Amiberry
7. Fixed print to display error in scripting.
8. HDMI has also been fixed thanks to Johnnys latest SDL2 build.
9. Retroarch Open GL orientation corrected, also thanks to Johnny.
10. Various controller configs added thanks to TimeWarpGamer.
11. Fix GBC, GBA(mgba_rumble), Pokimini,PSX(pcsx_rearmed_rumble) and Dremcast(use retroarch32) rumble support.
12. Enable rumble at boot(thx Christian Hatian).
13. Fix HDMI output to be fullscreen.
14. Adjustment to sleep function to help with a wake issue involving splash videos in EmulationStation. (Thanks Christian).
15. Switch to newer build of Emulationstation that scans ports faster and has Saturation, Gamma, Hue, and Contrast controls.
16. Fix libmali linking issues.
17. Add Wifi On/Off hotkeys. FN+L2 is off FN+R2 is on. It takes a few seconds to enable and connect.
18. Add Bluetooth Toggle. Press FN+C twice to toggle on or off. (thanks to Christian for the scripting and help).
19. Add FN+Power to shutdown, Power only tap to sleep, back to hotkeys.
20. Update Bluetooth scripting to add turn on and off toggle(Christian).
21. Fix OpenBor.
22. Update PPSSPP to 1.16.6
23. Update libsdl2 to fix further HDMI issues(Johnny).
24. Update Retroarch to latest version.
25. Fix battery icon and test option in ES, note that only some themes support it.
26. Add quickmode from ArkOS, thanks to Christian. You enable this from options menu and advanced. With this enabled and while playing a game in retroarch, tap FN+Power at the same time to shut down your device. When you power it on later it will bring you back into the game where you left off instead of taking you to emulationstation. Note that when you exit the game emulationstation will load for the first time so it will take a moment.
27. Fix battery voice reader, thanks Christian.

TBD...so much setup. It's pretty rad so far, but now I wanna redo PS2 and PSP stuff to be CHDs. 🤦‍♂️

I think once I get everything all configured though, I am gonna really like it.

CHD it's better choice today for all HDD or CD DVD games.

I still kept the ISO files for original hardware but yeah it's the way to go in 2024 if possible.

@Ajax is there a core for Neo CD that supports CHD? Final Burn doesn't :(

Ah, I haven’t really messed with NGCD on anything. Are you using a specific core in RetroArch? If so, is there a different core that you can try in there?

Tried Neo CD and Final Burn Neo. But neither support CHD. Looks like only mame supports it and I doubt that's the best option for Neo CD on a handheld. Gonna try though. We'll see. Might just grab ISOs of ones I actually play instead of full set BS

@Ajax I just loaded up Gradius V 2X, no tweaks...running solid 60fps. Weird, didn't you say that one didn't run well for you?

Which performance profile are you on? I wonder if it was set to opengl or something.

Ah, ok. I’m sure I was on vulkan, so maybe it’s one of the games that runs better with opengl.
