That is pretty fucked up to do something like that. I guess it's the same guy that got fed up with the scooped Irritating Maze carts, and just went on a bid rampage. Besides the point, this shill bidding is something that should be monitored.

Tw3ek, definitely agree with you on that one. You would think for a site that would try to cut down on bullshit would have as few retractions as possible.

I'd not noticed the guy that had bid & retracted on those two auctions I bid on was the one that won that Irritating Maze @ $325.

He also retracted a bid in this auction

Looks like he's trying to scope the max bid. Really seems stupid, just bid what you are willing to pay.

This is true for non-paying bidder strikes, but I don't think it is true for retractions.

You are correct, what I was thinking of is that ebay posts on your feedback profile as to how many bid retractions you have within a 6 month period. When I hate a crappy windows phone I kept entering the wrong amount and retracted 4 bids and then I noticed on my feedback profile that under the recent feedback it said "Bid Retractions: 4", I have no idea if it is still in effect.

They allow that many non-paying strikes against you? That's even worse than 5-6 bid retractions in that period!
