I watched a couple of good movies on TCM recently.
"Wait Until its Dark": a movie about a blind woman (Audrey Hepburn) who is being conned by a group of men to get one of her possessions. I think Hepburn is good; not sure that she nails all of the mannerisms of a blind person (though not sure what all of those would be myself), but she is really good in the more dramatic moments. Also, this is the first Audrey Hepburn movie I have watched and wow she is a beautiful woman. Alan Arkin is also good in this; very dark character.
"The Window": a movie about a kid who thinks his neighbours are murderers, but no one beleives him. I feel like this is the kind of movie that could be referenced in a tree house of horrors episode. The child actor in this movie is pretty good and the premise is interesting. I think the appeal of these older movies in part is looking at things that are so much different now and hearing people talk different than we do now.
Last halloween I was watching "eye of the Devil" on TCM but fell asleep or something. Hopefully they show it again because it was interesting and I would like to finish it.
